SCTV Spring Quarter Orientation

Come and learn about your Student Cable Television Station. A night of fun and fancy (along with free food) as well as the opportunity to become a part of Student Cable Television (and be a voice of the school!)

Go to events for free! Have access to equipment to make all your (media) fantasies and dreams come true.

Red Carpet Awards 2009

The 5th Annual Red Carpet Awards!
The 5th Annual Red Carpet Awards is a celebration of student film. Please join us February 25th, 2009 at 8pm in the Porter Dining Hall. Please wear semi-formal attire and a unicorn-themed accessory (if you have one...) There will be a raffle to win an SCTV shirt (holy shit!) along with the best unicorn theme costume winning a prize (better than the shirt!).
There will be awards given for the best films, including:
Best Animation
Best Cinematography
Best Editing
Best Story
Best Acting
Best Original Composition
Best Drama
Best Comedy
Best Documentary
Best In Show

In addition to the filmic fun, there will be three events taking place within the award show. They are performances by Cloud Nine A cappella group and the Music Stylings of the Video Game Collective, along with hilarious (high larious) stand up comedy by SCTV's own Alex Henriquez (he's from El Salvador).

Please show up and support your Student Run Media. On behalf of SCTV, thanks for a great year. That's it!
